What you’ll add:

To succeed in this role you’ll be a keen self-starter who can manage your own workload. You’ll be eager to learn new skills, technologies and processes while having the confidence to mentor junior team members.

You won’t be afraid to ask questions and be comfortable working on high-level concepts to explore the possibilities and solve technical issues.

You’ll also bring the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining software systems using strongly typed OOP language (C# .Net).

• Comfortable working with large datasets on traditional SQL databases or on data lakes.

• Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, Kinesis, SQS, EMR, EC2) or equivalent in other cloud providers.

• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.

• Able to work with minimal supervision and frequently changing requirements.

• Proactively working to improve the software.

• Equally interested in data engineering and general software engineering areas.
