Senior Data Engineer, AWS, Snowflake – £65,000 – £75,000

Your mandate spans from architecting to implementing end-to-end data solutions that seamlessly align with their business objectives, technical requisites, and governance protocols. Your expertise will fortify the scalability and resilience of our data infrastructure while empowering data-driven business decisions.

What you’ll add:

  • Architect and implement scalable data pipelines
  • Oversee data quality and governance measures
  • Mentor junior engineers within the team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine project requirements
  • Perform data modelling and schema design for new data sources
  • Manage data ingestion and ETL processes
  • Implement data security and compliance protocols
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve codebase
  • Liaise with data scientists and analysts to facilitate data access and usage
  • Evaluate and recommend new data engineering tools and technologies
  • Develop and maintain data engineering documentation
  • Lead disaster recovery planning for data assets.
