3 days per week – fully remote (you must be based in Europe)

Contract starts 1st June 2022 (12 months minimum).

This is a chance to work on a global project for a business that is putting patients at the heart of their approach.

You’ll be working for a leading global pharma company wanting to use its data to deliver faster, better, and safer solutions to people all over the world with unmet medical needs.

This company-wide initiative is focused on generating more value from data. It will enable the business to improve their understanding of problems and also provide insights for future decision making e.g:

• Optimising the design of clinical studies.
• Providing an improved understanding of the clinical development lifecycle.
• Analyse pricing and discount programs to improve the targeting of marketing spend and to manage pricing models more efficiently.
• Reducing time to market launch of new products and optimising production.

This initiative is taking solution development to a new level.

You’ll be required from 1st June 2022 to support the team with data science, engineering & development tasks using the below tech stack:

Technologies/tools:

• Hadoop stack including Apache Spark.
• Scala & Python.
• GraphX
• PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Docker or Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• AWS stack (Azure or GCP considered).

This position can be based from anywhere in Europe, but applicants must be able to work as an independent contractor/freelancer.
