Looking for a challenging and impactful leadership position that allows you to guide a company through a data-centric transformation?

You will spearhead the development and advancement of eco-data systems throughout the organisation and across all business areas. Your role will be crucial in fostering a data-centric culture for enhanced decision-making and growth.

Key responsibilities include designing and building cloud computing and event-driven architectures with high availability at a global scale, leading the evolution of eco data systems and establishing best practices and policies for the use of SaaS and PaaS products. You’ll also design and enhance multi-tenant architecture using virtual resources that can be consumed and scaled as needed.

And you’ll never be short of opportunities to showcase your skills and ideas in this role as you help to transform the company into a data-driven organisation. You’ll work across several functional areas within the company including Prescription Medicines, Consumer Healthcare, Animal Health, Finance, Research, Development, Medicine, and HR.

You’ll also have the autonomy to change and map the entire ecosystem across all business areas and your work will be the driving force behind the data-driven transformation project.

What you’ll add:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with four-plus (4+) years of IT experience
  • Expert in designing and/or re-engineering enterprise-wide view of the data, applications and respective integration points
  • Significant experience in Cloud Solutions (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) strategy and implementation for mid or large size organizations
  • Experienced in information architecture, platform/application architecture, design and development of cloud-based solutions, database administration, data integration, information/data modeling technologies, and data warehouse architecture
  • Experience with designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platforms, including AWS
  • A background in software development and experience in configuration management
  • Experience with TOGAF, Zachman, or ITIL.
