Reporting to the Head of IT BDS (biostatistics and data science), you’ll build innovative product use cases to meet internal customer needs – from prototyping right through to fully-productive and scalable solutions.

With an interest in healthcare and a strong background in Linux/Citrix systems, you’ll help to create and recommend solutions for this leading pharmaceutical company.

Role Responsibilities:

• Testing, recommending and identifying what’s working and then handing models over for full development.
• Collaborating with other IT units and the business community to steer the development of software solutions and guide internal and external developers.
• Responsibility for the entire solution as ‘IT Subject Matter Expert’ together with our Solution Architect.
• Supporting several initiatives on their journey ( such as defining IT landscapes and roadmaps).
• Overseeing the technical project deliverables and reporting on them.

What you’ll add:

• 5+ years experience of using Linux or Citrix.
• Masters Degree in computer science or related field.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and consensus with business partners, vendors, developers, legal and compliance functions.
• Extensive experience in continuous development and deployment environments as well as container platforms and management systems (Jenkins, Git, Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket).
