They supplied me with the most mouthwatering cakes in Munich from their canteen, which had a better menu than most restaurants. They treated me like I was their best paying client and not a supplier.

2 . Great Work Life Balance – This job has travel, buts it’s way less than in a normal Consulting job. If you’re in Consulting now this is your chance to get your personal life back.
When a project has a tight deadline and you have to work late you get your overtime credited via a flexitime system.
One of the team I met had just come back from a 3 week trip home to the USA taken as flexi time on top of his standard holiday allocation.
The only thing you’ll have to worry about in this job is spending too much time with your family.
You won’t get that at most Consulting firms.
3 . Real Big Data Projects with high visibility – You’ll mostly be project managing technical Big Data projects.
Some of these will be capturing the low hanging fruit and aimed at leading the company towards smart decision making and strategic use of data.
Others will be cutting edge of Data Science & Machine Learning. These initiatives have the board level commitment you need to make transformation work. This company is taking their Digital Transformation seriously. Really seriously.
